The application window for funding through the WWF Education for Nature Program is now open!
To support future applicants, the Program is inviting participants to its annual webinar, “Preparing Your Best Application for the WWF Education for Nature Fellowships,” on October 29th at 8 AM EST. This session will cover EFN’s 2026 fellowship opportunities, featuring insights from the Education for Nature team, current grant recipients, and alumni. Attendees will gain valuable tips on crafting a competitive application, and there will be a Q&A session at the end.
This year’s fellowships include:
- Current and Aspiring University Faculty Fellowship: Supporting faculty affiliated with universities in Africa, Asia, Latin America, or the Caribbean to pursue PhDs in social sciences or conservation-related fields globally.
- Fonseca Leadership Program: In partnership with the Global Environment Facility, this program offers financial support to master’s and PhD students in Latin America to tackle conservation challenges through advanced education and research.
Additionally, stay tuned for new special topic fellowship announcement in February 2026, following the success of the three-year Food Systems Fellowships for masters and Ph.D. researchers.
