Ocean Champions: One Ocean, One Future

Launched in the lead up to the 13th WIOMSA Scientific Symposium held in Mombasa Kenya on 28th September t0 3rd October 2025, WIOMSA’s “One Ocean, One Future” Campaign highlights the diverse perspectives of ocean voices from across Africa and the Western Indian Ocean. Through an expanding collection of inspiring stories, compelling visuals, clear calls to action, and personalized videos, these featured ocean champions showcase their understanding of what “One Ocean, One Future” signifies.

This ongoing campaign welcomes all ocean enthusiasts, including scientists, conservationists, policymakers, creatives, and coastal communities from the region to participate.
