The University of Seychelles (UniSey), in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources (MECENR) and the Save Our Seas Foundation (SOSF), has officially announced the 2nd Seychelles Environmental Science Symposium.
The gathering will take place from 19th to 22nd May 2027 at the Eden Bleu Hotel on Mahé, convened under the theme: “Islands to Oceans: Science for a Sustainable Seychelles.”
Serving as the country’s premier national forum for environmental research and innovation, the symposium connects researchers, students, practitioners, policymakers, NGOs, and industry partners. The event aims to advance dialogue, share evidence-based science, and foster collaborations across island, coastal, and marine ecosystems in Seychelles and the wider region.
Information regarding abstract submissions, registration, keynote speakers, and the full symposium programme will be released in the coming months.
