Voting Procedure
According to the WIOMSA constitution, Country Coordinators are elected by members within their respective nations. For countries where there is only one nominee, the candidate will be confirmed as the Country Coordinator, provided no genuine concerns are raised. In cases where more than one nominee has been put forward—such as Comoros, Kenya, and Mauritius—elections will be held to select the representative. WIOMSA members in these countries will receive serialized ballot papers by email and are encouraged to participate actively. Voting will close on November 15, 2024.
