The IIOE-2 Early Career Scientists Network (ECSN) invites applications for four (4) vacant positions on its Core Committee. The Core Committee plays a vital role in enhancing the participation of early-career scientists in Indian Ocean research by organizing networking events, webinars, capacity-building activities, and outreach initiatives. Selected members are expected to actively contribute to these activities and participate in regular online meetings.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be current PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, or scientists within 10 years of obtaining their highest degree, or under 40 years of age (whichever comes first). Candidates must also be actively engaged in Indian Ocean research.
To improve regional diversity, preference will be given to applicants from Australia, Small Island Developing States (SIDS), and Southeast Asian countries.
