WILDTRUST is looking for a Senior Project Manager: Ocean Spatial Protection to lead critical initiatives aimed at expanding marine protected areas and safeguarding marine biodiversity in southern Africa and the western Indian Ocean. The role involves managing projects focused on achieving targets like the 30×30 goal, supporting high seas MPAs, and working closely with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and international partners. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in marine sciences or related fields, with a minimum of five years’ experience managing marine conservation projects, including policy advocacy and protected area expansion. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to coordinate campaigns and support community resilience efforts.
