Celebrating Women’s Nature best practices in Conservation Education

We are proud to announce that Cpl. Tima Dago, a Marine Ranger/ Corporal at Kenya Wildlife Service – Malindi Marine Park and Reserve alongside with 6 others from Cameroon, Malaysia, Russia, Indonesia, Senegal and Nepal have been featured in the international booklet “Good Practices of Women’s Contributions to Nature Education” by IAPA/ISZS (Chinese Academy of Sciences).

This publication was launched as a side event of the 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves (WCBR) held in Hangzhou- China, from 22nd to 25th September 2025, bringing together global leaders and practitioners in environmental conservation and education.

Her story highlights her outstanding work in marine conservation, sea turtle protection, and community-based nature education along Kenya’s coastline inspiring young people and local communities to protect ocean ecosystems.
