WIOMSA and the Africa Marine Waste Network are pleased to announce the release of the latest issue of the WIOMSA Litter Catch Up newsletter.
The monitoring programme for marine debris is the first of its kind in Africa and could well be the first in the world, in that teams in seven countries (Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles, South Africa, and Tanzania) are working together over a great area, collecting data in a harmonious way and sharing information, educational material, and reports.
This report covers the period from August 2021 to the end of November 2021.
