The call for abstracts for the 8th International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC8) is now officially open.
IMCC8 will take place in the historic city of Edinburgh, Scotland, from November 13- 17, 2026. As the premier global gathering for marine conservation professionals, IMCCs bring together the global community to share research, tools, and lessons learned that advance marine science, policy, and practice.
Interested participants are invited to contribute to this global dialogue and help shape the future of ocean conservation. IMCC8 welcomes global, interdisciplinary, and student-led contributions addressing the most pressing challenges facing our oceans.
