The March issue of the WIOMSA Newsbrief highlights WIOMSA and partners activities for the first quarter of the year. The key feature of the Newsbrief is the launch of the Regional Centre of Excellence (RCoE) by the Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development, a significant event that aims to promote green transition and sustainable development through the use of Science, Technology, and Innovation in various dimensions. It is expected that the RCoE will become a reference point for updated information, able to influence policy decisions on forestry and biodiversity and contribute to the regional and global agenda on forests and biodiversity.
