Prof Ursula Scharler from the University of Kwazulu Natal has teamed up with IOP publishing to organise a peer review excellence workshop on 16th October as part of the 2023 Environmental Research conference. The workshop will focus on key aspects of peer review in environmental research, including:
- Peer review fundamentals
- Models of peer review
- How to become a peer reviewer
- How to write an excellent reviewer report
- Peer review ethics, including large language models and paper mills
