Consultancy for Course Content Producers

The University of Seychelles, through its Blue Economy Research Institute (BERI-Unisey), is offering Short-term, independent consultancies for COURSE CONTENT PRODUCERS to assist in its activities in the development of a Deep-Sea and Ocean Science Course in the Western Indian Ocean.

The Minderoo Foundation in partnership with UniSey, WIOMSA and Nekton, are working together to meet the needs identified to create a deep-sea marine science course for students and early career scientists in the WIO region. It will be developed as a UniSey accredited Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for presentation regionally and globally to a wide audience of marine students, managers, and researchers, especially in the WIO region. The course is designed to establish and consolidate a body of knowledge in deep sea and ocean science. The course will introduce deep sea and open ocean environments and their value to society, with special reference to the Western Indian Ocean and Small Island Developing States.”
