The South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity (SAIAB) is advertising (second round) for a Chief Scientist position to lead the research component of the institute.
The incumbent will lead and manage the research and innovation component of the Institute’s mandate, which is to undertake Aquatic Biodiversity Research and Innovation that drives the sustainable socio-economic development of South Africa. Provide management support to the Institute’s Managing Director and the NRF Executive, as well as leading and conducting aquatic biodiversity research at the highest level. The position is based at the Institute in Makanda/Grahamstown.
