Can marine conservation and women’s advocacy go hand in hand? Part of CORDIO’s work is to explore possible synergies among the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through the project ‘’Empowering women in community based natural resource management’’. CORDIO trained women on alternate, localized business models, and encouraged their active participation in local fisheries management.
