Join the Coral Reef Conservation Team
We are looking for experienced divers to join world-renowned coral reef conservation specialists in Curieuse Marine National Park, with the exciting opportunity to contribute to vital research into endangered coral reefs. The research focuses on coral reef resilience through exploring a variety of methods to enhance the adaptability of corals to thermal stress environments. The successful candidates will support the research team to carry out in-water surveys collecting, recording and analysing data as well as participating in evening discussions and workshops. This will also be an excellent opportunity to connect with an international team of science professionals, early career researchers and corporate volunteer employees from diverse backgrounds. The training runs for 12 days and will be based at the field station on Curieuse Island. APPLY NOW.

 

Join the Socio-economic Research Team

We are looking for researchers, early career scientists or professionals with a strong interest in and/or experience of working with communities in environmental education and awareness to join our Praslin-based socioeconomic research team in the Seychelles. The research focuses on assessing the impacts of coral reef decline on local communities in the area. Successful candidates will support the research through carrying out face to face inter views with local community members gaining hands on experience of data collection. Candidates will also have the opportunity to explore key elements of project research, design and delivery through a number of workshops, discussions and group activities. An ideal candidate would be keen to enhance their practical skills in data collection and keen to learn more about project design and delivery APPLY NOW.
