Applications are now open for the 2026 POGO‐SCOR Fellowship Programme, which funds 1–3-month training visits for early-career marine scientists, technicians, PhD students and post-docs from developing countries and economies in transition.
Fellows will receive return airfare plus a stipend for accommodation and subsistence while gaining hands-on experience with ocean observations, data analysis and related technologies at leading host institutions worldwide. Priority topics include low-cost observing technologies, sensors on floats and gliders, litter and sound monitoring, time-series stations, data management, coastal modelling and large-scale biological observations.
