CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Ocean Knowledge Action Network (Ocean KAN) through the Ocean Knowledge Action Network -Western Indian Ocean (TOKAN-WIO) in collaboration with the Western Indian Ocean Early Career Scientists Network (WIO-ECSN) is inviting young ocean actors, young ocean professionals and early-career scientists working on actions in the marine and coastal environments within the Western Indian Ocean to participate in a survey, and a Pre-UNOC virtual listening session event. The survey and session aim to collect information on the needs and aspirations of young ocean actors, young ocean professionals (ECOPs), and early-career scientists (ECS) in the region to be taken to the United Nations Oceans Conference (UNOC 2025) through a joint declaration.
The survey closes on 16.03.2025 (23:59, UTC+3).
The virtual listening session will be held through Zoom on Wednesday 16th April 2025, 9AM- 1PM UTC+3
