RECOS Launches Exchange Programme

As part of the “Resilience of population and coastal ecosystems in the Southwest Indian Ocean” project – RECOS, the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) is pleased to announce the  launch of a major “Exchange of Experiences Programme”.

The programme, which  contributes toward capacity building and the dissemination of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) expertise in the IOC region is open to all coastal zone stakeholders (community associations, cooperatives, individual stakeholders, NGOs, public authorities…) who are IOC members and beneficiaries states of RECOS project (Comoros, Seychelles, Mauritius and Madagascar). It allows for eligible stakeholders to benefit from the experience of a peer in the region, through funded fieldwork sessions.
