The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of South West Indian Ocean Fisheries Governance and Shared Growth program – SWIOFish and intends to apply part of the proceeds for payments under the contract for Consultancy service for Development of a Tuna Management Plan.
The Objective of the assignment is to develop a five –years Tuna Fisheries Management Plan (TFMP) for United Republic of Tanzania (URT), including consideration of associated bycatch and other tuna-like species.
