The Reef Resilience Network is excited to announce a new self-paced online course: Introduction to Coral Reef Management. This course is designed to provide marine managers and practitioners with the foundational knowledge necessary to support coral reef resilience. The free, globally accessible course consists of four lessons which take about five hours to complete:
- Lesson 1: Coral Reef Ecology
- Lesson 2: Threats to Coral Reefs
- Lesson 3: Management Strategies for Resilience
- Lesson 4: Assessing and Monitoring Reefs
Upon completion of the lessons and the course survey, participants will be able to download a Certificate of Completion. The course was developed by the Reef Resilience Network in partnership with the International Coral Reef Initiative and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Coral Reef Conservation Program.
